JOB DESCRIPTION

The IGTP is seeking to hire a Lab Manager to join the Neuroimmunology Team, providing organizational, technical and administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the laboratory.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reordering laboratory supplies.
  • Maintain security standards.
  • Maintain safety standards.
  • Train, mentor, and discipline lab assistants and staff.
  • Schedule lab and equipment use time.
  • Schedule staff.
  • Database supervision and organization.
  • Participation in project management.
  • Assistance in the elaboration of documents: scientific memories, ethics documents, proposals, presentations.
  • Bridge between clinical and basic researchers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE

  • Master in cellular or Molecular biology or immunology.
  • Accredited experience in project management.
  • Planning and Organization skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
Additional skills will be also considered such as:
  • Research experience in cellular and Molecular biology or immunology.  Publications. 
  • Motivation for learning and continuous improvement of skills and scientific growth.
  • Good knowledge on the field of neuroimmunology.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Open-ended contract (Ley de la ciencia 14/2011).
  • Full –time contract 
  • Date of incorporation: August 2026
  • Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
  • Training in a multi-disciplinary team in the context of a dynamic and stimulating environment fostering scientific growth.
  • Research institute with a number of facilities and scientific platforms, associated to a third level hospital, where basic, translational and clinical research meet*.
  • Active participation in research projects
  • The candidate will give and attend seminars locally at the Institute and participate in national conferences and meetings.
  • 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters.

L'Institut de Recerca Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP) és un centre de recerca públic situat a Badalona (Barcelonès) que té com a objectiu principal incrementar el coneixement científic per transformar-lo en solucions per millorar la salut i atenció mèdica dels pacients i de la comunitat.

L'Institut està associat a un dels grans hospitals universitaris de l'àrea de Barcelona, l'Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, i forma part del campus biomèdic de Can Ruti.
